Our Guided Whale Swim and Other Tours
Your visit to Tongatapu is incomplete without a trip out on to Tongatapu's beautiful waters. We have several options for you to choose from including tour packages to suit a range of budgets and special requests.
1 Day Whale Swim | 325 USD
If you are short on time and are looking for a unique and exciting experience, our 1 Day Whale Swim Tour is a great option. Tours depart at 9, include a picnic lunch and return by 3:30. You can expect a maximum of eight passengers on board and two whale swim guides. Regulations stipulate a maximum of four customers in each swim drop, so the 8 passenger maximum means a maximum of two swim groups per tour.
3 Day Whale Swim | 875 USD
5 Day Whale Swim | 1385 USD
If time allows, we highly recommend booking either a three or five day tour to maximize the time and the quality of time that you spend with the whales. While we have gotten in the water every year with Tonga's humpback whales during whale season, the quality of swims is influenced by several factors such as whale temperament, weather, water conditions, number of swim groups and number of operators on the water.
Full Day Boat Charter | 2600 USD
Hire the entire boat (10 person max) and discover the beautiful waters of the islands around Tongatapu. This 6-7 hour boat tour will take you through the wonderful waters around Tongatapu where you will visit several of the outer islands. Enjoy snorkeling, swimming, beach combing and a catered lunch.
Kayak Island Hopping | 150 USD
Kayak the beautiful waters of Tongatapu with us! Our all inclusive Island Hop package starts with a pick up and a drive to the Eastern side of the island where you will be guided in kayaks across the Eastern lagoon across over to the royal island of Makaha'a. After a brief stop, your kayak adventure continues across to Pangaimotu where you will be served lunch at "Big Mama's". A final crossing over to Nuku'alofa ends your kayak adventure.
Half Day Island Cruise | 150 USD
(outside whale swim season > Feb 1 - Jun 30)
We take you for half a day on the water (4 hours), either in the morning or the afternoon, depending on the weather, your and the schedule of other guests. The morning cruise includes snorkeling and lunch on an island before we come back; the afternoon equally includes snorkeling and also a sunset sundowner just in time for us to be back before dark.
Lagoon Kayak Rentals | USD 20/hr to 90/day
Come kayak in the beautiful protected lagoon in Holonga and go see 'Captain's Cook Landing' from the water'. Kayak to smaller protected smaller island in the lagoon and have your pick-nick on your own little island.
